    zabbiz_sender max lines in a file

    Hi,

    I'm trying to send a file with 263 lines but is failing, if i take out a few it works.

    /usr/sbin/zabbix_sender -vv -z 127.0.0.1 -p 10051 -i results.txt
    zabbix_sender [435]: DEBUG: Answer [{
    "response":"success",
    "info":"Processed 261 Failed -254 Total 7 Seconds spent 0.959792"}]
    Info from server: "Processed 261 Failed -254 Total 7 Seconds spent 0.959792"
    sent: 263; skipped: 0; total: 263

    Anyone knows what is the max number of lines a file can have for zabbix_sender to work?

    Any way to overcome the limit?

    There is no limit on number of lines in the input file, you may send 1M of values if you want.

      Then why is it failing? If i send the a file with 253 lines it sends ok, more than 253 it fails saying "Failed -254"

          No, i'm thinking in dividing my file in two.

            Alexei,
            could anyone of your team take a look if this line amount is really acting as a constraint?
            This limit shouldn't be so low

                I've upgraded to 1.6.7 and now can't send anything from files:

                i created a file with only 2 lines and i get this :

                zabbix_sender [32685]: DEBUG: Answer [{
                "response":"success",
                "info":"Processed 0 Failed 2 Total 2 Seconds spent 0.000968"}]
                Info from server: "Processed 0 Failed 2 Total 2 Seconds spent 0.000968"
                sent: 2; skipped: 0; total: 2

                  i've installed 1.6.6, and it works, even with more than 253 lines.

                  I will fill a bug regarding the problem that after 1.6.7 sender just doesn't send anything from files.
