Agent stops working

Hello,

Recently we have a problem with the agentd on one of our servers.

The agentd stopts randomly with collecting data. In the logfile we see nothing strange.

ps aux:

The errors in the log are caused by some scripts run by the agentd. (zabora)

No messages in /var/log/dmesg etc.

I already rised the debug level for the agent.

Anybody an idea?

How come nothing strange?

Your agent isn't finding not even one of the Oracle Items your Template tells it to look.

Do you have an Oracle DB in that host?
Why don't you have set $ORACLE_HOME environmental variable?

Yes it has an oracle db but dbora is not yet properly configured indeed. But this was already
the case for more then half year and we had no problems with that.

But in case this can be the problem I've removed the custom parameters for the agent.

I've raised the debug level and if it stops, it stops for exact one hour.
