Zabbix 1.8 MBstring?

Hi,

I´m a new member here, and i know that´s topic is old. But i think is better use it.
I installed the Zabbix 1.8.5 + PHP 5.1.6. I have the same problem here with MB string.
Im my linux, there are three files locales.inc.php.
They are /root/zabbix/zabbix-1.8.5/frontends/php/include/locales.inc.php, /var/www/html/zabbix/include/locales.inc.php and
/var/www/html/zabbix/php/include/locales.inc.php

Which shuold i change?

I changed at all, but keep the problem in the setup

What else should I do?

Hi, MCRS.

try to reinstall the lynux system and Zabbix.
I´ve installed zabbix 1.8.3 on Centos 5.5 and zabbix 1.8.5 on Debian squeeze and there wasn´t any problem.
I didn´t do any change on locales.inc.php

I'm not an expert in linux, but this worked for me.

mbstring.func_overload = 2
