      Also seen in 1.6.5 - fixed by configuration

      Found a similar issue with fsockopen() call but only saw the dashboard display that the Zabbix server was down when in fact it was running. It was also seemingly random.

      After some hours of trial and error, a direct correllation between the queue and the erronous server status display was found. If the items waiting to updated (>10mins) was high (1000s) then the Server status was incorrect.

      It was solved by increasing the pollers in the configuration.

        Do u have any inputs on why fsockopen start to fail when the items waiting to updated (>10mins) is high.
