I'm trying to install Zabbix 1.8 with a MySQL database, but during the web setup procedure, I can't get past stage 3: Check of pre-requisites.
The "PHP MB string support" fails, even though the "PHP MB string overload" test passes. phpinfo reports that Multibyte support is enabled.
Does anyone know what could be causing this?
I'm using Apache 2.2.3 & PHP 5.1.6 on CentOS 5.4
