Zabbix Status / Trigger Messages are wired

    Hi all,
we got some temperatur sensors which are working fine, but the status messages are wired:

    Subject: "HOSTNAME}:{TRIGGER.KEY}.last(0)} at {TIME}"
The result: "Temperatur: 11 Celius at 13:38:34" - fine so far.

BUT the message can be wired, as soon as the temperatur is minus degree.

    "Temperatur: 16777216 TCelius at 13:40:37"
We do monitor freezers, so i need zabbix to tell me the temperatur if somethings happens ..

    The Trigger: "{Lager:tmp[0].last(0)}>-8"

    Any hints? Thanks :-)

No idea unless you post at least zabbix version and item type.
For example item of type uint cannot be negative so that would explain you problem...

@ alj Thanks for your reply.

Version: Zabbix Version 1.8.1 on Debian 6.0
Please find attached a screenshot from the configured host.
The temperature is displayed correctly on graphes and "last data", the trigger and action works correctly as well. Its just that the value is not correctly transfered into the mail / sms.

What do you mean by "item of type can not be negativ"? Any suggentions what i could try?

        Thanks
