Can't create personnal icons and background

I'm installing zabbix 1.8 on a new server. I was using zabbix 1.6 without problems, but with zabbix 1.8 if I create a png 24x24 icon file I can load the icon file but then I get "no image" information (I don't see the image of the icon in the list). With phpMyAdmin I can see there is a file in the database.
I have the same problem with a background image file.
It's OK if I import it in Zabbix 1.6 using my old server.
What could be the problem?

I have the same problem, create a new Icon upload the image and then it just says "no image". If I click on "no image" I get the following error:

The image “http://www.domain.com/image.php?imageid=32&sid=92dbffd2225d93bb” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
