Release date of 1.8.1?

I've got a couple of bugs logged with 1.8 and its pretty much unusable. The bugs will be reportedly fixed in 1.8.1.

Any idea when this version will be released or should I just go back to 1.6.7 in the meantime?

Update: Managed to get the SVN version working after one of the bugs have been fixed.
