    Hi,

You don't describe how you have configured SNMP monitoring within Zabbix.
Have changed SNMP community from 'public' default value to 'test' ?

      Hi,

      Thanks for your answer.
Sorry about that, i forgot to tell you this point.

So i did configure the differents ITEMS with the community name (test), the SNMP port 161 and SNMP v1. I can see that the triggers are well configured (green icon).
Then i got the timeout by checking on the host availabily on Zabbix.

Is there anything else to setup ?

      Thanks in advance ...

When you say you configured "triggers" do you mean items?

Also, configure SNMP to be version 2c, not v1... look at the "Latest data" link in the Monitoring section of Zabbix to see if Zabbix can pull SNMP data

Just so you know, I have a Cisco 2960 switch I'm monitoring with Zabbix and it's working fine...
