Zabbix Agentd on AIX 5.3

Which versions of zabbix_agentd work in AIX 5.3? I installed a fresh zabbix 1.8 server and had hoped to use 1.8 agents. However, I am encountering the same libiconv.a load failure others are reporting. I have not seen any patches, fixes, or workarounds for this. What is the most up-to-date version of complied AIX zabbix_agentd that will run under AIX 5.3.

Do I need to go back as far as 1.4.6? Anything in the 1.6.x series work on AIX 5.3?

You should not have any issues running Zabbix agent 1.8.1 on AIX 5.3 (With Zabbix server 1.8 or 1.8.1)

I run it here and it works fine.
