Zabbix plots non-existing values on graphs

First CPU 5 min utilization data collect was started approx. at 11:17. But at graph Zabbix displays it as data are being collected all over the time.

But there were no 5min utilization data before 11:17 at all. Opened ticket https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBX-1911

When you just create graph and receive first value zabbix plots horizontal line going into past even though there was no data back then.
This bug or "feature" been around since first version.

It seems like this is the case with this graph as well.

          alj,

Why does it plot 'fiction data' only for 5min but neither for 1min or 5sec?

I assume that previous point for "5 min" graph is beyond the left border of the graph (by looking at the time scale). So due to it absence it probably assumes that previous point was the same....

For 1 min and 5 sec graph you can see that 4 previous points would fit ON the graph. So according to what been said above graph was not plotted because 4 point of it have no data.
