Zabbix 1.8.1 - Oracle 10g - Host creation

Hello,
We can't create hosts.
We receive an "Unknown Zabbix error" message each time.

Do you know if it is related with this issue :

or it another problem.

Of course, we had to change the sql creation scripts. (nvarchar2 length, NOT NUL/NULL issue).
After the changes, creation went well, insertion (data.sql and images_oracle.sql) as well.
But still can't add a host.

thise bug resolved in current branch 1.8 version

1.8.1 was suppossed to be the "stable" version, correcting some of the bugs of the 1.8.0 stable version.
We are not talking of a minor bug. The issue was preventing from adding a host !

We gave up Oracle, and used MySQL, hoping the testing/validating process was more thorough. So far, it is ok.

When you say in current branch 1.8, do you mean 1.8.2 or whatever is in SVN? I'm using 1.8.1. Are you saying I need to do a source pull from the repository?

I've looked through those bugs and they seem to be the fix. I've manually applied all the various patches. I created an archive with the patched files in it and attached it here for you.
