DM - child Node data not displayed in Master - 1.8.1 and MYSQL

Hi all,

I'm experiencing the same problem described on this post

http://www.zabbix.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15586&highlight=distributed+monitoring

Master (node 1) with the "All" nodes option selected should display both node 1 and node 2 data, but it shows only itself.

I'm using MYSQL... not postgresql


Seems to me that nodes 1 and 2 are correctly communicating with each other:

zabbix 1.8.1
mysql Ver 14.12 Distrib 5.0.51a
Debian 5.0


Any tips?

Thinking to a frontend bug,
I have just tried the last trunk svn version tagged Zabbix 1.9

no way, nothing changed.

On the Master node, 'Number of hosts' reports 2 (correct! but only 1 node is showed)

I got it.

Damn, I had to click on:

Current node -> Select node (top right) and select all nodes.

To be honest, it was not intuitive and reported in the manual.


I strongly suggest to update the doc with this info.
