    Unknown ZABBIX internal error (how do I get more info?)

    I've attached a page I am getting. How do I find out more information about this error? I've been getting errors adding hosts to this new installation occassionally and I'm not sure how to proceed in debugging. Screenshot attached.

    Thanks!

    Temporarily set the following parameter in zabbix_server.conf and check the logs.

    DebugLevel=4

    It'll start filling up your log so reset it after collecting the needed info

      ZABBIX server logging will NOT help you in debugging frontend. So no need to change server DebugLevel.

      Create in your frontend new User Group and call it for example "Debug group", enable "Debug mode" for that group, add users you need to debug to that group. You will notice new link in top right corner "Debug". It will show debug info.

          OK, started over and put the Admin user in a Debug group I created with the Debug setting as mentioned. It gives slightly more information:

          Click image for larger version

Name:	zabbix_error_with_debug_group.jpg
Views:	1
Size:	75.9 KB
ID:	308802

          The [ Chost::Create ] is new, but still doesn't tell me much.

          I had to replace all the "nvarchar2(2048)" with "nvarchar2(2000)" in the DB creation scripts. Is this related?

          Also noticed post: http://www.zabbix.com/forum/showthre...ight=nvarchar2

          Along with: http://www.zabbix.com/forum/showpost...6&postcount=27

          Seems like a systemic problem with Oracle backends no?
