How to set host groups shown in "hosts status" and "system status"?

I was unable to find, WHICH hostgroups are shown in host/system status dashboards, and HOW to change them.

Any ideas?

you can't customise that currently. it depends on data receiving and triggers, depending on where you are looking at

If I understand you, just adding some trigger and/or data polling (item) to one or all host group members would propagate it to the "hots status". Am I right?

How does it depend? What are the options? Need to show some hostgroups in host status widget.

in general, yes - having working items and at least one trigger should ensure that host/group appears everywhere in the monitoring section

Thanks! Why not add the info to the documentation? There are lot of data in the forums, but it is very hard to obtain, and search still does not work (captcha bug).

btw, what captcha bug are you referring to ? search works perfectly fine for me when i'm not logged in, captcha works and everything
