I am running Zabbix 1.6.8. All of a sudden, last Sunday the server kept spewing out errors, indicating servers were down, then up. This runs constantly, and around 30 - 50% of the servers are shown as down, but they all up. (generated about 15 000 alerts in a few days)At the time, the CPU is around 98-100% constantly. I've tweaked it and the mysql DB But nothing changes.
Odd thing, on the weekend the cPU drops to around 40 - 60%. Is there anything that could cause it during the week to use all the CPU?
Are there any other suggestions I could try?
It's a Single Xeon 2.8, with 8GB Ram, but Ubuntu 32bit.
