Overview page has black bars in header

Searched for several posts related to this and found a few but there were not helpful.

The header of the overview page shows black vertical bars instead of expected information. This happens with hostnames on top and on left.

Looked through logs and didn't see any errors. gd library is installed. not sure where to go from here.

I'm using...

RHEL5.4 and the 1.8.2 frontend. I guess it isn't in gd on RHEL5 either...

Yeah, I see what you mean now. We use RHEL 5.4 and I just installed pre-1.8.2 (revision 10615) and am seeing this. I hardly ever use this view, though...

problem alixen has supposedly is different (and is being worked on).
could somebody with the "black bars" try a couple of things ?

1. see whether branches/dev/ZBX-2116-vtext/frontends/php from the svn helps them any;

2. figure out which revision exactly made the text go black for them
