    Zabbix 1.8.1: Can´t edit maps

    Hi,
    I´ve set up a shiny new test installation on our test server running on Caos NSA Linux 1. The system runs Zabbix 1.6.x without any problems. Before installing 1.8.1 everything from the old Zabbix 1.6.x test install was removed, including databases and setup files. At this point everything seems to work fine expect editing maps. When I add a new map and then go to edit it everything seems looks fine. When I hit the add element button the map disappears and is replaced by a little "Sysmap" icon. When entering the map of the default installation of zabbix it just shows the little "sysmap" icon. Removing the map doesn´t change anything.
    I found this in the apache error log:

    [error] PHP Fatal error: Cannot break/continue 1 level in /srv/www/html/zabbix1_8_1/include/maps.inc.php on line 353, referer: http://netz/sysmap.php?sysmapid=3&sid=c5e3283b87e74b54

    As you can see, the zabbix front end runs as a virtual apache host named "netz".
    This is the summary of the zabbix installation:
    PHP version 5.2.8 5.0 5.3.0 Ok
    PHP memory limit 256M 128M 256M Ok
    PHP post max size 32M 16M 32M Ok
    PHP max execution time 900 300 600 Ok
    PHP timezone Europe/Berlin Ok
    PHP databases support MySQL Ok
    PHP BC math yes Ok
    PHP MB string yes Ok
    PHP MB string overload yes Ok
    PHP Sockets yes Ok
    PHP GD 2.0.34 2.0 2.0.34 Ok
    GD PNG Support yes Ok
    libxml module 2.7.2 2.6.15 2.7.6 Ok
    ctype module yes Ok

    I found this post mentioning problems with a broken pic:
    <http://www.zabbix.com/forum/showthread.php?p=55154#post55154>
    Checked all pics, all ok.

    Any other suggestions?

    Greetings,

    Mike

    Hi,
    just a small follow up. I had some time to take a look at the problem when I find this in the Apache access log:
    "GET /imgstore.php?imageid=2be69518a3a95894ed8d353b14af1 3c4%3Ctable%20class=%22msgerr%22%20cellpadding=%22 0%22%20cellspacing=%220%22%20id=%22msg_messages%22 %20style=%22width:%20100%;%22%3E%3Ctr%3E%3Ctd%20cl ass=%22msg%22%20colspan=%221%22%3E%3Cul%20class=%2 2messages%22%3E%3Cli%20class=%22error%22%3EError%2 0in%20query%20[SELECT%20*%20FROM%20images%20WHERE%20imageid=]%20[You%20have%20an%20error%20in%20your%20SQL%20syntax ;%20check%20the%20manual%20that%20corresponds%20to %20your%20MySQL%20server%20version%20for%20the%20r ight%20syntax%20to%20use%20near%20%27%27%20at%20li ne%201]%3C/li%3E%3Cli%20class=%22error%22%3Emysql_fetch_assoc ():%20supplied%20argument%20is%20not%20a%20valid%2 0MySQL%20result%20resource[/srv/www/html/zabbix1_8_1/include/db.inc.php:546]%3C/li%3E%3Cli%20class=%22error%22%3Emysql_free_result ():%20supplied%20argument%20is%20not%20a%20valid%2 0MySQL%20result%20resource[/srv/www/html/zabbix1_8_1/include/db.inc.php:548]%3C/li%3E%3Cli%20class=%22error%22%3Eimagesx():%20supp lied%20argument%20is%20not%20a%20valid%20Image%20r esource[/srv/www/html/zabbix1_8_1/map.php:266]%3C/li%3E%3Cli%20class=%22error%22%3Eimagesy():%20supp lied%20argument%20is%20not%20a%20valid%20Image%20r esource[/srv/www/html/zabbix1_8_1/map.php:267]%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E%3C/td%3E%3C/tr%3E%3C/table%3E HTTP/1.1" 200 - "http://netz/sysmap.php?sysmapid=4&sid=047d035f5548ab45"

    This time, there is no entry in Apaches error-log.

    Still hoping for some help,

    Mike
