    icmppingsec[targetIP]

    Hi all,

    I'm trying to use this simple check to graph the response time between two server but it doesn't work... i get always 0.000 values

    I monitor two servers : A & B, and i would like to graph the response time between A and B, do you think it is possible with a zabbix check ?

    Thanks
    Simon

    ping probably fails. does simple icmpping work ? have you configured fping correctly ?

      Yes, simple icmpping works. I installed fping package, what do you mean by configured correctly ? Is there a special configuration for zabbix ?

      My simple check is "icmping[IP_servB]"

        re-reading your question, it looks like you are trying to ping one monitored host from another - but simple checks are always executed from the zabbix server.

        if you want to ping, you might have to use a userparameter - alternatively, one of the tcp checks might work

          Ok, i was thinking that target IP could be another server... but it's not.

          I resolv my problem with that :
          UserParameter=ping.bla,ping -c3 -t1 xx.xx.xx.xx | grep rtt | cut -d"/" -f5

          Thanks Richlv
