cat: write error: Broken pipe

Hi folks,

i have another problem with my zabbix server. Even i restart the server process i got the following message on the command lind.

cat: write error: Broken pipe

Sometimes i got this message if the server is still running. I got no problems but the message isn´t really nice. Does anyone have an idea?

Right off the bat, I suspect that your zabbix user does not have permission to write to it's log file or it's pid file. Double check where you have Zabbix logging to and where Zabbix writes it's pid file. Make sure the Zabbix user is able to write to both locations.
