Problem with template linkage(few items are in application other)

I have a template with 300 values.. When i apply the template to a new host, every item is within the right application.

But on a few hosts, a few items are placed in other.

Does somebody knows a way how to fix this? I think i should re-apply the template, but then i loose my history on that items.


it happens on zabbix 1.8.1.
I have upgraded to zabbix 1.8.2 but no difference.

You don't need to reapply the Template.

You can modify that Template's rogue Items to reflect the intended Applications.

Each and every single host linked to it will reflect those changes.

Note: I'm pretty sure first you need to guarantee those Applications already exist for the those hosts.

But what if this doesn't work?

that's why i need a way te reapply the template, without loosing all my history

You could change it at the database level? items_applications would be the table to relink though its not something i've had to look at yet.
