zabbix over use cpu

I just install zabbix in the morning on my debian (virtual) server
Everything seemed to be alright but few minutes after I saw my cpu load reaching 100%

I ran a top and then see :

mysqld 65%
zabbix-server 35%

I restart zabbix, everything stay ok for about 10mn and then suddently the same issue append.
(I try twice and got the same issue)

So I'm wondering why is zabbix taking so much cpu.

(I just monitor the server where zabbix is installed and have "new values per second" = 3.3234 )

Hi, we have found similar conditions, and resolved with simple tuning such as providing mysql database with RAM to cache and ensuring that the remaining disk IO is not bound.
