    Configuration - Triggers missing

    Hi Folks,
I have the problem, that I cannot configure triggers via the Zabbix-webinterface. Under "Configuration", the entry "Triggers" is missing. Is that a bug? Or haven't I searched correctly?

    I've made a screenshot of the "Configuration"-menu:

    I run Zabbix 1.8.2 on Gentoo (2.6.28-hardened-r9), Apache 2.2.15 and PHP 5.2.13.
PHP 5.3 is recommended, could my older version cause the problem?

If some information should be missing, please let me know.

    Best regards,
    Jimini

    you must use 1.6 before

from the 1.8, there is no independent triggers and graphs setting in the menu. they had been move under the menu "configuration-> host". same level with items.

      Thanks for your reply!
So you mean, in 1.8 I have to configure trigger-settings in "Configurations" => "Hosts" => "Triggers"? Then I have the problem, that I cannot edit the expressions (e.g. "vfs.file.cksum[/etc/passwd]").

For testing, I installed Zabbix 1.8.2 on a different machine a few weeks ago, there I could edit and change the expressions without any problems (if I remember correctly).

      Best regards,
      Jimini

If you cannot edit it at the host level, then it is probably assigned at the template level. Try editing it there.

Oh, now I see. If I select "Triggers" via the little dropdown-menu in the upper right, I can edit the triggers.

          Got it!

Thank you very much for your replies.
