Hi --
I recently upgraded one of my workhorse 1.4.1 installations to 1.8.2. I dropped the indexes as instructed in the upgrade instructions (http://www.zabbix.com/documentation/...tion/upgrading). I then applied: upgrades/dbpatches/1.6/mysql/patch.sql, and then dropped the indexes again, and then applied upgrades/dbpatches/1.8/mysql/patch.sql.
However when I started up zabbix_server and then logged in, I had lost the history and trend data for most of my items, however, not all. Example of an item where I still had my history: system.cpu.load[,avg1]. example of an item where I lost all my history: vfs.fs.size[/,free]
Most items were lost. Only a few were saved.
I restored from backups and I'm up and running again on 1.4.1, but I'm hoping someone has some insight for me so I can try the upgrade again!
Thanks.
