          PHP silence!

The other day, I had a similar problem.

Nothing to do with zabbix, quite a different story, but a php module missing.
It had me pulling out my hair, because there was not the slightest hint or error message, not in the webserver log nor the php error log, simply an empty output document!

Seems they love to keep admins wondering.

            Hit me today!
Shouldn't it say something smart instead of empty file...like:
"I this file is empty, maybe you are missing php-xml."

I frequently have problems with other web browsers.

Safari doesn't like to import/export templates.
              Firefox sometimes has issues.
              IE sometimes has issues.

I've had to use Firefox or IE to import/export successfully.

I've tried various combinations of FF/IE in Linux/Win, is there a command line tool to do it after I scp the xml to the server?

I'm running Debian Squeeze, there is no php-xml package, but have installed php-xml-parser and php-xml-serializer and restarted apache. The import says it's successful, but it doesn't appear in the template list, or as an option to link to a host
