Hi
I have a Zabbix 1.8.2 installation working well, using a mixture of Agents, ping only, and SNMP.
All works well, aside from 2 problems regarding SNMP switches (which may be related):
1. In Configuration/hosts - the availability of SNMP hosts is fine. If I go into items, the bar above all the items shows availability:unknown. There are no items showing 'not supported' - although I have some disabled. This in itself is not a problem, but I think it may be related to my second issue...
2. Within maps, if I configure a host group of the switches, beneath the icon the status shows '56 unknown'. I've had this issue before with agent devices, and checking to make sure there were no triggers looking at unsupported/disabled items solved it for them - but I can't seem to resolve it for these SNMP devices.
Within the overview for these switches, I'm getting successful communication with the switches (using icmpping, port status, switch name etc).
If anyone needs me to supply screenshots or any more information, then please let me know.
Thanks in advance...
Al
