Zabbix 1.1beta2 Config Issue

I am back like a nasty infection... sorry for being such a whiner out of the gate. And thank you in advance for your help.

SMTP configuration which I assume is for alerts..... it is described here:

Uh, no dice. There is no CONFIG link. Logging in as admin also seems to shed no additional light.

Would this be compounded by the fact that the frontend is NOT running on the same box as the server? Advice? Suggestions? Hacks welcome.

Click on menu item "Configuration" (left to "Login") after succesfull login. Check "Connect as Admin" on page's bottom-right.
