Problem monitoring eventlog

Hi,

i`m trying to monitor the system eventlog. It worked on antoher evironment but not in my actually.

In the log i see only this:

Expression [{12852}=4] for item [22266][<SERVERNAME>:eventlog[System]] cannot be evaluated: unable to get function value: lastvalue IS NULL for function [12852][<SERVERNAME>:eventlog[System].logseverity(4)]

Any ideas?

Ok, fixed it.

The HOSTNAME (not dns name) in zabbix have to be exactly the same (case sensitive) as in the client config file.

Just made my day. Have been struggling with this now.

This needs to be somewhere in the documentation for this as I can see lot of people having the same problem.
