Update Interval of '0'

The release note for Zabbix 1.8.2 indicate that an update interval of zero can be used to enable data collection within specified times (see following quote)

:: Added time-based disabling of data collection on item level
Default interval of '0' with flexible intervals may be used to enable data collection within specific time periods only.


However, when I try to enter an update interval of zero, I get the following error:

Item will not be refreshed. Please enter a correct update interval.

I am use Zabbix 1.8.2

you must add flexible intervals for that to work. have you added any ?

hmm. seems to work just fine with svn head frontend... can you try with that, just to verify ?
