Hello, i'm a trainee and i'm having some troubles with Zabbix agent.
Sorry for my poor english but I'm french.

I recently had to upgrade Zabbix from 1.6.1 to 1.8.2.
After a few days and in the middle of the night, one Agent (running under Windows 2K) was reported to be "not running". The other 20 machines were running just fine.

But the strange thing is that this agent pings and IS running (I checked in the services, restarted, rebooted, tried the previous version of zabbix, etc.).

I've been looking for a solution in forums for about a week ! Could you please help me ?

First thing i would do is to take a look inside the Zabbix logfile on the Zabbixserver.
Second thing raise up debug level inside the agent_config to '4' and restart the agent.
This should give you helpful informations about whats going on.
