Problem in Zabbix Event duration

Dear team,

I have configured devices in zabbix with an update interval of 300s(5 mins) and pinger frequency of 90s. But in Monitoring->Events web page, I am able to see the duration of Problematic devices with age 10m and more. But minimum is 10m. I have checked this part by testing a device and making it down for 2 mins. It works for a specific group but for the other device groups it takes delay.

Sometimes its very strange like, though the device has recovered, the device is being shown in the last 20 issues for more than 40mins as down. Pinging from that part shows that the device is alive.

Kindly clarify me on this part.

I have had a similar problem. Well, a variation of it.
I have hosts that go down long enough for an event to be actioned. After the host comes back, the system continues to escalate the problem as if the host is still down.

I know it is up, because the map shows it up and I can ping it.

The only way (besides restarting the zabbix service) is to disable the host for a short while (one Poll?) then re-enable it.

I will try out by disabling the devices. But why the event duration is showing wrong.. For 2 mins also it is showing 10 mins. Please help me to fix this issue.

i have same issue and resolve them by restart agent on the server which is problem occured.
