I've been experiencing an issue I wasn't able to track down.
My trigger triggers, but the action (that sends an email) executes after much longer time. It is not caused by mailserver, I see in Actions Audit that it was sent by Zabbix about two hours later than the trigger was activated (according to latest data -> events).
At first I thought it could be related to this issue http://www.zabbix.com/forum/showthread.php?p=69036, but the trigger gets deactivated and two hours later Zabbix sends an email.
I also found another issue with similar symptoms but I am sure Zabbix is to blame for sending emails late, not mail server (http://www.zabbix.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14468).
Zabbix is version 1.8.1 but I didn't find any similar issue mentioned in changelog.
Any help would be appreciated.
