    icmping problem

    hi

i have created items "icmping" to check status of router and when it's down, sends me an email

i have this problem: it sends me email with "problem" and immediately after 1 minutes,it sends me email with "ok"

i think there is a problem sometimes in line for 2-3 lost packets but i dont want to receive 2 emails in 1 minute

probably,i should configure ICMPING more better. how can i do it?
    now i have put
    UNITS: 5
    IUPDATE INTERVAL: 15

    thanks

Hi, set trigger if ping fails two or more times, example,
    icmpping.max(#2)=0 or icmpping.last(#2)=0&icmpping.last(#1)=0

Otherwise, use icmppingloss. I have mine setup to only alert if 100% packets lost.

I am not sure if 1.6.7 has icmppingloss. The first version of Zabbix I used was 1.8.1.
