upgrade 1.8.1 -> 1.8.3 triggers flooding

Dear all,

I upgrated from 1.8.1 to 1.8.3.

Once done, without any problems (as usual),
I have started to receive flapping triggers (mails and jabber alerts) from a server (Processor load is too high on XXX).

I'm not able to stop this flooding:
- I tried to switch off the item on the server
- I tried to switch off whole server monitoring (Not monitored)
- I tried to kill the agent on the server
- at the end I try to delete the server from the monitoring (a search show empty results)

The only thing I can do is -to switch off the server!-
Only in this way I'm not flooded from mail and jabber alert.

...zabbix is switched off now...

Any tips?

I searched the accused server in the DB, no entries.


i tried to restart DB/apache/server, no way.

When i start zabbix_server I'm flooding of alarms:

Processor load is too high on 'Server name':
Processor load is too high on 'Server name':

'Server name' has been deleted.

Any help more than appreciated...

I fixed it, actually I'm not totally sure how.

I removed all the entries in the DB.
Anyway entries were 'historical data'

I deleted and inserted a couple of time the 'crazy server' in hosts.
I update to the last version the agent.
I let the server switched off 1 day.

Once started again no mail flood.

A bit of mistery...
