    Upgrade from 1.6.6 to 1.8.2 mysql-error

    Hello,

    i have a problem by updating zabbix from 1.6.6 to 1.8.2

    By starting the Update from mysql with " mysql zabbix -uroot -pxxx < patch.sql"

    i got the following error:

    ERROR 1060 (42S21) at line 12: Duplicate column name 'ip'

    Can anywhere help me ?

      When i run the force-mode (mysql zabbix -uroot -pxxx < patch.sql -f) i get the following errors:

          Have anyone an idea?
          The problem is that you have already applied this patch and apply it again. If you have failed to apply the patch completely without error the first time and you try to apply the patch again, such errors - this is quite logical. Update database to version 1.8 should be done strictly according to instructions. It is very important.
          I think that repeated attempts to apply the patch with just such errors should not harm the database, although I'm not sure.
          If it is a complete list of errors, then I think that the database has been updated completely.

              That was the problem.
              I played the data base from the last dump and again implemented the upgrade (only 1 time). It has functioned without errors
