Must I recompile Agents after Kernel Update(s)?

    Hello,

Recently we have updated several of our linux systems which did include kernel updates. My Experience tells me that, yes I do need to re-compile zabbix agents in order to avoid skewed results and or alerts.

    Is this true?

    Thanks,

    Allen

You should almost never need to recompile agents if you have a kernel upgrade. If you change glibc libraries then yes you might need to recompile.
