data in table history_log

hi

i have zabbix 1.8.3
i have created item log in TEMPLATE_LINUX to register activity in AUTH.LOG of linux server

it runs correctly because from web, in "latest data" i see the data of linux server

the problem is that data doesnt come registered to table history_log

in history_log i see only data from event log security of windows servers

why ?

any idea to solve this problem about log server linux ??
