Help How to monitor things specially during working hours.

Hi All,

I am new with this tool. I read the documentation and it is no 100% clear.

I would like to monitor a service/filesystem with different range during the working hours and off working hours.

I have setup this value in the Items area:
----
Update interval (in sec) "60"sec
Flexible intervals (sec) No flexible intervals
New flexible interval Delay Period
---

I would like monitor: every minutes - working hours
every 10 minutes - rest of the day and weekends.

Any help?

You can try as in image attached. Set the update interval as 600 secs (10 minutes) and exception to 60 secs (1 Min) for business hours.

By the way, there is enough documentation is available excerpt from manual here (Item configuration section). what is seen in image is not the only way to do this. (you can define update interval as 60 and in exceptions list set the weekend and non business hours)

Flexible interval - List of exceptions for Update Interval.

For example:
10 sec, 1-5,09:00-18:00 – refresh set to 10 seconds for working hours.
Otherwise default update interval will be used.

Period format:dd-dd,hh:mm-hh:mm;dd-dd,hh:mmhh-mm
For example, 1-5,09:00-18:00;6-7,10:00-12:00

1 - Monday, …,7 - Sunday
