different versions on Proxy and Master possible ?

Hi!
I got a problem with the Zabbix Proxy Server. He stopped sending values to the Master Server some time ago and i cant find the reason for this.

The Zabbix Server uses version 1.8.3 and the Proxy uses 1.8.2. Are these versions compatible or is an upgrade of the proxy server mandatory ?

Your setup should be fine the way it is. I use 1.8.3 Zabbix application server and 14 proxies that are at 1.8.2 code level.

I'd try restarting your proxy database as well as the proxy service, then start digging into logs.
