XMPP Online Status

I've setup Zabbix with jabber-support and are able to receive messages from Zabbix through a local XMPP-server.
After adding Zabbix as a friend on the XMPP-server I can now see the server offline in my buddylist.
Is it possible to get Zabbix to connect and stay online on the XMPP-server?

why do you want it online?

No I don't need to reply to it, but I'm used to have Zabbix online in ICQ-list.
Guess I'm just one of those that doesn't like changes :]
