Hostgroups and templates

Hello,

I've seen threads here asking more or less the same question, but there didn't seem to be an answer.

Can a hostgroup be used to link a template? For example, I'd like to link the template Linux_Template to the hostgroup Linux_servers; thus linking this template to every new host I add to the Linux_servers hostgroup.

What am I missing here?
