    Host availability

    I have a host which is running fine, but it is showing as unavailable. All the active items are reporting back with no errors, but the host is showing as unavailable meaing it is unreachable on 10050.

    The server is technically not reachable as it is not using a routerable IP address (private LAN) and for this reason I have configured all Active Items which are working fine.

    I did do a search in the forum talking about changing the default availability status using a trigger but not sure how that gets set assuming this is the right way to configure availability.

      I'm in the same situation.
      Try setting Zabbix agent port = 0 in host profile: with a new hosts, this let grey the "Z" icon in Availability column

      @johny blaze: I don't think xaviercardoza wants to know its public address.
