Logins Stopped Working

We are running zabbix 1.8 and it has been working well for us. Recently we found that we could not login. All username and password combinations that worked before do not work now. The user database table looks fine when we compared it to a backup. The funny thing is that users with autologin set are fine and this same Zabbix system still works great for them. We created a new account from one of the autologin accounts and we cannot login with that one either.

Aound the same time, our sysadmin did an upgrade to our Proxmox VPS software that was not supposed to impact the VPS itself but maybe it did. Please tell me what you think could be wrong and how we can fix it.

users_groups

There is a database table called users_groups that was the issue. After tracing through the code I learned that I can add an entry to the users_groups table that just has a user ID and a group ID in it. When I did that, I could login again. I then put all users in groups and all could login. My version of Zabbix is working fine again.
