Can't start agent on Windows 2000

Agent can't start with directive Include=c:\zabbix\conf\, but if the directive is commented it starts.

This only happens with Windows 2000. The zabbix agent version is 1.8.2.

Could this have something to do with https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBX-1917 ?

I don't have an 1.8.2 agent here, but at least in 1.8.3 there's no "--include" option.
May be you are thinking in "--config" to set the config file to be used?

It's just a wild guess, but could you try using forward slashes instead of backslashes?

At my previous employer we also had some win2k boxes that we couldn't get rid off. However, I never had the same problems you seem to have. (Zabbix 1.1.3 and 1.4.4)

I'll have a specific configuration that works for those win2k.

I'd liked to have the same configuration for all hosts, in order to use the API for making configuration changes, but it's ok, I'll just take in mind.

Ok, I think it should be supported.

Did you try:

Include=c:\zabbix\zabbix_conf\*

Maybe that will work?

I don't have a windows box to test it on either.
