Change number of running threads

Hello everybody,
I am running zabbix on a shared server with a limit of 25 running threads.
How can I limit the number of processes created by Zabbix?

Reduce the number of pollers in the zabbix_server.conf file

Each poller equals one thread.

Normally the number of Zabbix threads is not an issue until you begin to ramp up your installation.
