    Creating Graphs

I am having trouble creating graphs using Zabbix 1.1beta5 on Slackware Linux 10.2 (Linux 2.4.31). If I go to Configuration -> Graphs, what "Name" am I suppose to key? Is it arbitrary? If I use "test", accept other defaults, and click "Add", I am told that the graph was added, but it does not appear in the list. If I refresh, or go to another function and come back, the graph still does not appear in the list. I am not seeing any errors in Apache or zabbix server logs. What else can I check?

    Thanks,
    Eric

      Solution

Turns out to be something really stupid -- I didn't realize that my view had defaulted to trying to show me all the graphs for a specific host. Since I had only created the graph, and not associated and hosts/metrics to it yet, the filter of course yielded nothing. Check the pull-downs on the right side and make sure you're really seeing "everything".
