    The localhost Agent is not monitored

    Hi everybody,

    I have installed zabbix 2 years ago but I have some trouble to install it again...

    I have compiled the 1.8.4 server and agent and tried, at first, monitor the zabbix server but seems in trouble

    In my logs file and frontend, my zabbix server is not monitored :

      I have juste enabled it in configuration>Host

              Is "Zabbix server" the name of your Zabbix server host in Zabbix ?
              You must make sure that hostname defined with:
              Hostname=
              in zabbix_agentd.conf matches the name used in Zabbix host configuration.
