Zabbix server no active list sent to agent

Hello,

I am starting to pilot a Zabbix install. I used Turnkey Linux LAMP install and then deployed Zabbix server via the apt-get which installed version 1.8.1. I then deployed the zabbix 1.8.3 client to a windows 2003 and windows 2008 server. I then added both clients (agents) and they show up monitored. I am trying to monitor the windows event logs and found a template on the zabbix site but after importing and then linking to the window servers group the items were still showing up dark grey in the overview section and there was no "Lastest Data" listed. I verified that the hostnames were the same in gui and the agent conf file. The items are listed as active and set to Zabbix agent (active). I checked the server log and there is no listing of the Zabbix server attempting to send an "active list" to the agent, only to "localhost" which fails. Is there something I am missing.

Found problem

Well the problem was in the iptables firewall setup. My configuration was wrong for allowing on port 10051. I grouped 10050-10051 together and it didn't seemed to like this. So I broke it out into two separate firewall rules and the event log info started showing up.
