    Zabbix Web monitor issue 1.8.4

    I have just upgrade from 1.8.2 to 1.8.4 and notice the following

    I have 2 host with web monitored setup

    Host A
    1) monitor http://xyx.abc.com/test.asp with required (work fine)
    2) monitor http://xyx.abc.com/default.htm with required - works in 1.8.2 does not work anymore if keep return value 1 whereas the download/response data works fine.

    Host B
    1) similar to Host A 2) http://ctx.abc.com without required works in 1.8.2 but does not work anymore in 1.8.4.

    I tried to recreate Host A 2) ane Host B 1) also it does not work.

    Anyone could help?

      I have recreated a new scenario as following

      Authentication: None
      Update Interval: 60 secs
      Agent: Internet Explorer 6.0

      Steps:
      Name: Web monitor
      URL: http://abc.com/about.htm
      Timeout: 15 secs
      Status code: 200,201
      Requried: Blank

      I still get the error

      Failed on "Web Monitor" [1 of 1] Error: Status code did not match
      Reponse Time: 0s 2ms
      Reponse Code: 405
      Status: Fail - Error: Status code did not match

      I have another monitor to asp page and this works fine.

      Authentication: None
      Update Interval: 120 secs
      Agent: Internet Explorer 6.0

      Steps:
      Name: Site ABC monitor
      URL: http://abc.com/search.asp
      Timeout: 15 secs
      Status code: 200,210
      Post: {product}=sste
      Requried: Blank

      Hope anyone there could help.

        Open in a ticket in the support interface. (You do not need to have paid support to open a ticket) Specify the version and that this is critical as it breaks functionality.

        Search support.zabbix.com prior to opening the ticket.

          Hello,
          I'm having a similar issue in Zabbix 1.8.4. We've been on this version for awhile. The monitor was working until this morning, when it started failing. I can do a wget on the URL that it is checking from our zabbix server and see what should (and has until now) matched the content check, but Zabbix still reports this failed.
          I added a new monitor, with the same URL and status code/required settings as the old, and it fails in the same way.
          Were you able to get this issue resolved?
