Zabbix performance beyond 25 new values/s

Hi,

are there any options where I can optimize my Zabbix to run with more than 25 new values per second without building an excessive queue?

No problem with the database. No slow queries, database completely in RAM.

Are you still using the default number of pollers? You might still want to look into some of the tuning options for your database, as they can streamline the query process.

90% of Zabbix performance tuning is done in the database.

As Nelson said, playing with number of pollers in zabbix_server.conf can be a hint to have a smaller queue.

In our configuration, we have 165 new values per second and 30 pollers started, 2 IPMI pollers and 4 pingers. And everything runs fine now. With less than 30 pollers, values were sometimes not polled leading to graphs with holes.
